Type, colours and effects

Photo over a colour block is set in Press Start 2P and JetBrains Mono on a palette of cream, red and amber (colour styles “Signal”, “Deep”, “Flash” and “Paper” in the file). The film grain and pixel echo are live effects: they stay in place when you change the photo or the words.

Make it yours in four steps

Press “Use this template”: Photo over a colour block opens in Paletoo as your own copy, no sign-up needed.
Double-click “almost” and type your own; Press Start 2P, the size and the line spacing stay as they were.
Drag your photo onto the picture; its mask keeps the crop, and the film grain follows the new shot.
