Type, colours and effects
Insect specimen is set in JetBrains Mono and Inter Tight on a palette of black, cream and red (colour styles “Ink”, “Muted ink”, “Paper” and “Leaf” in the file). The halftone, dithering and pixel stretch are live effects: they stay in place when you change the photo or the words.
Make it yours in four steps
- Press “Use this template”: Insect specimen opens in Paletoo as your own copy, no sign-up needed.
- Double-click “Insecta 03” and type your own; JetBrains Mono, the size and the line spacing stay as they were.
- Drag your photo onto the picture; its mask keeps the crop, and the halftone follows the new shot.
- Export a PNG or a PDF at 1080 × 1350 pixels.
